| Nurturing the Technical and Poetic Pianist |
WOLF PIANO STUDIO NOTEWORTHY NEWS
Is your child ready for the end of the school year musically? Students
should be actively memorizing at this time for their guild auditions. Have
them give a mini-recital in front of you. Most students are doing 4-10
pieces, plus technique, FOR A REPORT CARD TYPE GRADE. Please do
your part to insure that it is a good experience for all involved. This
includes practice EVERY DAY. This is an excused absence from school. I
will have forms for you to submit to schools.
April 26 – Theory Exams at Bethel University. This exam is given at the
state level, and endorsed by colleges and universities throughout the region
as college credit.
Guild Audition (report card performances) – May 7-10 (chosen by Austin
TX headquarters) These will run during the day and include technique
and theory elements, as determined by the student and teacher.
End of the year Recital and Awards Ceremony –Thursday night, May 22,
at 7:00 p.m. at Lutheran Church of Our Savior. 14980 Diamond Path,
Rosemount, MN.
Last day of lessons May 23.
MMTA Honors Concert – May 31.
Summer registration forms will be available soon-here and in your
statements for May.
